Escape Hunt Brisbane is an all new escape the room experience in Brisbane! If you’re looking for one of the top things to do in Brisbane, corporate and team building events or Brisbane’s newest tourist attraction, this is it! You will have 1 hour to play the part of a famous London detective investigating a mystery set in Brisbane. You will need all your skills and wits as you gather clues, crack codes and solve puzzles in order to escape the room before time runs out!
Description
The Escape Hunt Experience is a unique adventure based on the classic “escape the room” online games now popular in many countries around the world. Originally, these were online point and click computer games such as Myst and Crimson Room. They were then made into real life games in Japan around 2007. Players are locked in a simple room with objects where they gather clues, crack codes and solve puzzles in order to escape the room before time runs out.
This idea spread to other places and The Escape Hunt Experience is proud to take inspiration from these great games, yet offer something totally unique. We offer a true “experience” like a mini theme park where you are transported back over 100 years and play the part of a famous London detective with your friends or colleagues trying to solve a mystery. As a team, you play against the clock in one of our rooms to find the guilty suspect’s identity and thereby find your escape. Our experience lasts around 90 minutes. After the 60 minute game we invite you to chat about your experience in our luxurious lounge area over a drink and dress up in period costumes for photos.
The Escape Hunt Experience is aimed at anyone with a sense of fun who likes puzzles and fun brain teasers. We have intentionally designed the adventures to appeal to different age groups, genders and backgrounds. We find that equal numbers of tourists and locals enjoy the game immensely. Our game masters are here to play with you and help you where needed. Escape Hunt is fantastic fun for friends, family groups, corporate groups and all ability levels, giving you memories you will treasure for many years!
We are open 7 days a week almost every day of the year with our first game starting at 10:00am and the last game at 8:30pm every day. We will take groups from 2 – 5 players. More players can also play against each other in 2 identical rooms. We will also be hosting fantastic corporate events. Children under 7 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian and there must be at least 1 player over 15.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policy • No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or in case of no-show. • No cancellation fee applies for cancellations made 24 or more hours in advance. Terms and Conditions 1. Children under 7 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian and there must be at least 1 player over the age of 15. 2. Sessions may be rescheduled up to 3 hours before the session start time though 24 hours notice is preferable. 3. No refund will be given in the case of cancellation within 24 hours of the session start time. 4. No refund or rescheduling will be given in the event of a no-show. 5. We will offer a refund for the difference in cost if less people are able to come than booked and at least 3 hours notice is given. 6. If more people than booked arrive for the session we are happy to accommodate them (up to a max of 5 per room) and we will require payment for the extra people prior to game play. 7. If you arrive late we may need to reduce your game play time so as to not disrupt other customers.
