Description

The Lockyer Valley Cultural Centre opened in November 2009 and is currently home to the Visitor Information Centre, Queensland Transport Museum, public library and art gallery.

The Lockyer Legends gallery is also located at the Lockyer Valley Cultural Centre. Take a stroll through and read a bit about each Lockyer Valley legend. If you want to take the history home with you visit the Information Centre where they sell the Lockyer Legends and Champions book which includes stories for 37 Legends and champions. The Lockyer Valley Cultural Centre is wheelchair friendly, includes baby change facilities and has ample parking for RV's, caravans, trailers and buses. Outdoor facilities include public BBQ's, covered picnic tables, a playground, toilets, large areas of grassed parkland, dog-friendly walking tracks, a bird hide and permanent exercise equipment.
