Great news! The Maritime Museum is re-opening on 1st April 2021 in an amazing location! . The Maritime Museum is now located at Flinders Parade, in the beautiful East Shores Parkland within easy walking distance of our Patrol Boat. We can't wait to show you our new space. . Patrol Boat HMAS Gladstone II is currently open to visitors for weekend tours. From the 1st April the Museum and Patrol Boat will have new hours and be open each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 9am-4pm. . Gladstone Maritime Museum focusses its collection on maritime history of the Gladstone Region. Visit to view history from prior to Captain Cook up to modern times. Special features include the shipwreck wall, Jenny Lind figurehead and a library. Naval and sailing ship models are of interest.
