Description
Davies Creek National Park conserves a granite landscape set in eucalypt forest on the north east edge of the Atherton Tableland. An unmarked 2km walk upstream from the camping area leads to the base of Davies Creek Falls. A carpark 2km past the camping area is the start of a 1.1km circuit walk. A lookout along this track has a spectacular view of the valley and a little further is a lookout over a 75m high fall. Camping is allowed with permit which can be booked and paid for on the QPWS web site at: www.qld.gov.au Domestic pets are NOT allowed and firearms, axes and machetes are prohibited also.
