Description
Spring Bluff Railway Station is a popular wedding, picnic and photographic location. Bring lunch and a thermos and relax in the public picnic areas. Picnic facilities include free electric BBQ's, tables and chairs, public toilets and a playground for the kids. There is no charge to enter the grounds and car parking capacity allows for up to 50 vehicles at any one time.
Also learn about the history of the area and view photographs of the destruction caused during 2011's flood event.
Wedding facilities include a gazebo and wedding arch located within a large flat grassed area. Smaller wedding locations are available in-front of the caretakers cottage and in-front of the Spring Bluff garden sign.
Please note that due to the historic and undulating nature of the site it is not wheelchair accessible. A disabled toilet is located on the Station Platform. Elderly visitors may find the steep steps and pathways to the cafe and higher picnic areas inaccessible. McCormack Drive is the only access road to Spring Bluff and is extremely steep. Caravans are not recommended.
Please note: The passenger train to Spring Bluff is operated by Queensland Rail and only operates at specified times during the Carnival of Flowers in September each year.

Cancellation Policy
Wedding Bookings: Full payment is required within 14 days of booking confirmation
Payment is required within 24hrs of booking confirmation when booking is within one week of the event date
If the wedding is cancelled more than six weeks prior to the wedding date a full refund will apply. If the wedding is cancelled less than six weeks before the wedding date no refund will apply. Please note no refund applies for wet weather cancellations. Spring Bluff does not have undercover group areas and a last minute alternative venue plan is recommended. Spring Bluff is happy to accommodate a re-scheduled photo shoot on an alternative un-booked day.
Weddings at Spring Bluff are subject to the following:-Minimum disturbance to public users of the venue. The Trust cannot and does not guarantee exclusive occupancy of the venue-The hirer indemnifies the Trust of any injury or loss of property resulting from the use of the venue-The hirer agrees to pay any repair charges associated with any damage caused to the venue as a result of use- The venue must be vacated by dusk due to the train system
Train Rides to Spring Bluff during Toowoombas annual Carnival Of Flowers.Commemoration ceremony for World War II veterans is held each year on St Patricks Day, 17th of March.
