This year the QICA Conference is incorporated into the Visitor Services streams of the Australian Regional Tourism Network (ARTN), held in our own backyard - Roma.
We encourage QICA members to take advantage of the convention in our region, and attend. The convention is a great opportunity for you to learn from speakers, to network with people in the same industry in other states, experiencing the same issues and achievements and it will also give you the opportunity to hear and have your say to help shape tourism in regional Australia. Concurrent sessions for VIC's which will help you implement changes and improvements in your own professional development and your VIC operations.
The ARTN convention provides a forum to discuss, debate and investigate issues, challenges and opportunities facing regional tourism. The convention is for all sectors of the tourism industry to exchange ideas about ways to grow a sustainable regional destination and to showcase best practice success.

The 2016 VIC of the Year Awards will be presented at the 2016 ARTN Outback Gala - Dinner under the Stars at Explorers Inn.
