EQIP Gladstone

Description

EQIP (Education Queensland & Industry Partnership) Gladstone overarches 4 successful programs that provide work ready students for employers. The 4 programs were developed from partnerships between the 3 State High Schools in Gladstone and local industries. Students undertake part of their schooling on site of big industry and/or with local employers. The four programs on offer to students are: ?Business & Information Technology Skills (BITS) Centre located at Boyne Smelter Limited (BSL) ?Doorways to Civil Constructions (D2CC) located at McCosker Contracting ?Gladstone Schools Engineering Skills Centre (GSESC) located at NRG Power Station ?Technical College Gladstone (TCG) with students completing 2 week rotations at the college completing their senior studies and 2 weeks in the workplace.
