QICA is proudly managed by volunteer Queensland VIC managers and staff who graciously give up their valuable time to ensure the association delivers on its commitment to hold a Conference each year that is relevant and of high quality. QICA supports the network to advocate industry bodies for share of voice, network collaboration, and resource sharing. The conference aims to offer essential and professional development and training, in addition to offering crucial networking for over 100 information centres in Queensland. As the only annual conference in the State tailored solely and specifically to information centres, the opportunity to support the network is provided through the sponsorship prospectus and sponsorship forms which are available via the links below.

2024 QICA Volunteer of the Year Award
Do you have an outstanding volunteer who goes above and beyond in your centre?
Be sure to enter them into the QICA Volunteer of the Year Awards to celebrate their hard work and commitment to the industry.
Please submit no more than 2x A4 pages in 12-point font size, Ariel or Calibri when answering the following questions:
- Name of Volunteer
- VIC volunteer works at (please nominate 1 VIC only if volunteering at more than 1).
- Age
- How many years have you been volunteering at the nominated VIC
- Do they volunteer anywhere else?
- Describe and detail how your volunteer goes over and above their duties at the Centre. You are welcome to provide an introduction to your volunteer in the first paragraph and then detail their achievements. Think about what activities, duties, or projects they’ve assisted with in the qualifying period, 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024.
- Provide up to 3 photos of your volunteer (minimum 1 required).
- Email your entry and photo(s) to qldvic@gmail.com by Friday 1 November 2024.
QICA Host 2025: Announced at the Gala Dinner.
Award Details will be available via the Awards Page on Wednesday 15 May 2024.
